NOTE: To Galaxy S/S2/S3/S4, Galaxy Note 1/2, Galaxy Nexus and HTC Rezound owners: The visualizer will sporadically show a flatline with many music players, due to an Android bug related to the built-in DSP in these phones. This is a problem for all music visualizer apps on these phones, as evidenced by user reviews of other apps. Still looking for a work-around, but well probably have to wait for a future version of Android to fix it. If you have this problem, I apologize! Please email me and I will refund you.
Please send me an email about which audio player you use if you arent seeing meta data. I need to manually implement each player. A player can only be supported if its developer has decided to broadcast meta data within Android and I am able to contact them. I have attempted to contact the makers of Spotify, iHeartRadio, DoubleTwist, and TuneIn. If they get back to me, I might be able to support them.
Audio from any app will be displayed, but only the following are known to also show meta data. Additionally, more may be supported if they have an option to turn on scrobbling.

It comes with 200 download credits built-in (twice as many as in v1.4), each good for one sheep. After they run out you can get more credits with an in-app purchase (for half the price). After downloading the initial flock, you should get a few more each day.
The app is specially designed to minimize power consumption. With normal use it should have no measurable impact on the battery, however when its first installed and is downloading the initial flock it takes more power. It has an option to only download when on a WiFi network, in case you have a limited data plan.
Once you install and run it, tap the screen to bring up the status overlay, or hit the menu button to see the main commands, including the preferences where you can change the speed (FPS).
By default the speed is set to slow so its not too distracting and doesnt use too much battery. If you want it to go faster, use the preferences. You can also set it to stop running when your battery gets low.
